BOWLS OF HYGGE
Hygge is a fundamental concept in Scandinavia with no direct English translation implying the notions of "coziness" or relaxing with friends and loved ones. We find our inspiration at 26 Grains from Scandinavian cooking traditions and spices. Our menu features a selection of healthy dishes based on grains, spices, and fresh ingredients.
Start with wholesome grains such as oats, quinoa, buckwheat, barley, millet, amaranth, spelt, flaxseed and rye cooked through a variety of milks - nut milk, coconut milk - or water or juices.
Add traditional Nordic spices such as cardamom, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and star anise. To keep our porridge deliciously healthy, we use only all-natural and unrefined combinations of honey, maple syrup, fresh fruit, and coconut to add a fresh touch of sweetness.
Finish with a variety of natural toppings such as nuts, fresh fruits, and house-made compotes and granolas.
